West Hollywood Kids Fair 2016
WHCP got to participate in the annual West Hollywood Kids Fair on April 16, 2016. The students helped kids make slime and art and crafts! The students had a lot of fun participating in this event!
Aquarium of the Pacific School Field Trip
WHCP is excited to share photos from our school field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific, located in Long Beach, California! The students got to learn about different marine animals, organisms, the water cycle, and the different environments in water! The student enjoyed the interactive tidal pools with different anenomes and even baby sharks!
Annenberg Space for Photography Trip
WHCP is excited to share photos from our December high school trip to The Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City! The students, who are studying environmental issues for their Research Paper & Essay Writing class, took a guided tour of the "Life: A Journey Through Time" exhibit by National Geographic photographer Frans Lanting at the museum, followed by viewing the outdoor "Future of Life" photo exhibit on display and the "Pearls of the Planet" polar bear live cam experience at Skylight Studios.
The students also enjoyed an outdoor lunch followed by writing exercises with prompts based on their museum experience.

WHCP 8th Grade Persuasive Speech Presentations
Congratulations to members of our graduating 8th grade class for successfully presenting their end of year persuasive speeches.
These students spent several weeks studying the news before researching important national and international policy issues of their choice and offered their own solutions and changes to government policy.
The 2015 West Hollywood Debate
West Hollywood Collge Preparatory High School Government students ask candidate for West Hollywood's City Council about pressing commuity issues from partking to development in a moderated debate.
